Booking and the $100 booking payment

Online appointments are confirmed when the $100 booking/diagnostic payment is completed. While you pay, the time is held for a limited period; if payment is not completed, the time is released.

The booking payment covers the diagnostic visit. It is separate from the cost of any repair and is not credited toward the final invoice.

You can cancel or reschedule online until 1 hour before the appointment. Inside 1 hour, contact the shop; cancellation then needs the shop’s approval.

The booking payment is not refunded when you cancel, except where a refund is required by law or by payment-processor rules, or when the shop cancels the appointment. Better Lansing Mechanics is operated by Noahs Consulting LLC.

Estimates and authorization

Repair work begins only after you approve a written estimate. Additional work requires your separate authorization. The $100 booking/diagnostic payment does not authorize any repair and is not credited toward later repairs.

Vehicles left at the shop

Multi-day repairs may require your vehicle to stay at the shop. Storage terms for vehicles not collected after completion will be stated on your estimate or invoice once finalized.

Warranty

Warranty terms are being finalized and will be published on the Warranty page. Until then, ask about coverage for your repair before approving work.
